The Council for Exceptional for Exceptional Children has awarded a $500 grant to Tamara R. Peterson, learning disabled resource teacher at Neabsco Elementary School. Peterseon will use the grant funds to implement an after-school program for parents of learnng disabled students.

Parents who participate in PASTTIME (Parents and Students Taking Time to Love and Learn,) will learn how to help their children with their homework and will view and discuss videotapes produced by learning disabiliteis expert Richard Lavoie. They will also receive a copy of "The School Survival Guide for Kids with LD."
