River Oaks Elementary School student Brady Wiggins’s letter on gun control was one of 22 selected from more than 7,000 entries to be published in a special issue of Time for Kids, a student version of Time Magazine. The special issue, “Kids Agenda for the Nation,” will be published in January. Students in Cathy Bovey’s third grade class entered a letter-writing contest sponsored by Time for Kids. Contest participants wrote to the President-elect to advise him of their choice for the single most pressing current issue affecting children. The issue will be distributed to Time for Kids readers, the President, the Vice President, and all members of Congress. Brady is the son of Doug and Laurie Wiggins of Woodbridge.
