Jacqueline Ragos, daughter of Stacy and Robert Ragos of Dumfries, and a senior at C.D. Hylton High School, has been named a recipient of the 2000 “McDonald’s Asian Pacific American Community Service Award.” Sponsored by the McDonald’s Family Restaurants of the Greater Washington, D.C. Region, the competition is open to area high school students who have completed outstanding community service on behalf of the Asian-American community.Jacqueline, who was among thirteen students honored, was recognized for her service on the Dumfries Triangle Rescue Squad.

Washington, D.C.In addition to the scholarship, Jacqueline received McDonald’s stock and a $250 donation to the rescue squad.
