SUMMA CUM LAUDE GRADUATES TO BE RECOGNIZED

 One hundred and twenty five Prince William County High School seniors will be recognized as summa cum laude graduates at a ceremony to be held on Monday, June 12 at 
7:30 p.m. at Hylton High School.  Hylton is located at 14051 Spriggs Road, Woodbridge.
These students, from the seven Prince William County High Schools and county students who have attended Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Fairfax County, have earned a cumulative average of 4.0 or above on a grading scale in which an A receives a numerical score of 4.0.  Students earn a 5.0 if they attain an A average in an advanced placement or International Baccalaureate course.  In Prince William County schools, an A is awarded for grades of 93 to 100.
