 WOODBRIDGE MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT IS BEST IN SCIENCE FAIR SHOW

Michael Pansky, a sixth grader at Woodbridge Middle School, placed Best in Show at the 2001-2002 Prince William-Manassas Regional Science Fair held on April 20 at Metz Junior High School in Manassas.  Michael placed first in the Medicine and Health category for his project, An Eye For An Eye.

  Prince William County students placed first in all categories.  The winners are: Behavioral Science, Melissa Beardon, McAuliffe Elementary School, Can You Fold It?; Botany, Elizabeth Moehlenkamp, Lake Ridge Middle School, You’re Spoiling Everything!; Chemistry, Kelsey Nicholai, Henderson Elementary School, What is the Effect of Temperature on the Surface Temperature of Water?; Computer Science, Michael Luu, Beville Middle School, Data Zappers; Engineering and Mathematics, Tanya Tarnovsky, Marshall Elementary School, The Testing of Paper Towels; Earth and Space Science, Lindsey Marchand, Signal Hill Elementary, Tornado!; Environmental Science, Justin Vollmer, Bennett Elementary School, Do Storm Waves Cause More Coastal Erosion Than Smaller, Everyday Waves?; Medicine and Health, Michael Pansky, Woodbridge Middle School; An Eye For An Eye; Physics, Kareem El-Gohary, Woodbridge Middle School, Vegtable Oil Triathalon; and Zoology, Keegan Coon, Benton Middle School, Going Nuts: What Type of Nut Does My Solomon Island Elcotus Prefer?
