Achievements which enabled Bennett to be selected as a School of Excellence
were the following:

At Bennett the climate instilled a strong sense of ownership, responsibility,
caring, and pride among the students, staff, and parents.

Bennett used the Annual School Plan for goal setting that focused on academic
areas.

Strategies used to teach the curriculum included mapping, review of performance
data, parent support, assistance of Instructional Support Team members,
BEAR volunteer tutors, remediation and acceleration, and collegial planning.
