Achievements which enabled Nokesville to be selected as a School
of Excellence were the following:

Nokesville prioritized areas for instructional improvement and focused
materials, staff, and energy to accomplish this.

These priorities included test-taking skills and strategies, traditional
academic areas, and programs such as the Lunchtime Learning League, Colonial
Days, the Creativity Fair, the Outdoor Education Experience, and Family
Reading Nights.

A special community spirit at Nokesville and open honest communication
enabled all parties to participate fully.
