Achievements which enabled Henderson to be selected as a School of
Excellence were the following:

At Henderson, teacher leaders and administrative staff were able to create
a climate of innovation and support which helped to establish a foundation
for change.

Teachers utilized curriculum mapping, team meetings, workshops, and alternative
resources to meet the needs of students.

and understanding of the parent’s role in the educational process.
