Mrs. Ramirez is the Woodbridge District representative to the School Board.

Mrs. Ramirez is employed as the Divisional Property Administrator at the Divisional Headquarters of the Salvation Army in Washington, D.C.

Mrs. Ramirez is a member of the Hispanic Council of Community Resources Development, Inc. and has served as a volunteer adult teacher of English for Speakers of Other Languages. She was a member of the Fred Lynn Middle School Advisory Board and the Arlington Board of the Red Cross. She is currently a VSBA Delegate and an active member of The Salvation Army. Mrs. Ramirez was elected to the School Board in 2003 and re-elected in 2007.

Mrs. Ramirez received a BM degree in music and opera theatre performance from Temple University. She and her husband Luis and their three children Noemi, Noelia, and Neftali, have lived in Woodbridge since 1995. Daughter Noemi is a graduate of Gar-Field High School and Virginia Commonwealth University and is attending Strayer University for her Masters in Education Administration; Noelia is a graduate of Gar-Field High School and pursuing a career in fire fighting; and Neftali is a senior at Gar-Field High School.
