Don Richardson is a software engineer with Lockheed Martin Corporation.
He has 29 years of experience developing, maintaining,
and supporting sophisticated information system software for a variety
of U.S. government customers.
Mr. Richardson was appointed vice chairman of the Virginia School Boards Association Northeast Region in November 2007. He also serves as president of the Fauquier Community Theatre. Former memberships include the Board of Trustees of the Prince William Library System, a soccer coach and referee, and vice president of the
Virginia Soccer Association.
A graduate of the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in history, Richardson
was earlier employed by HRB Systems, Inc. in State College, Pennsylvania; Computer
Sciences Corporation in Hanover, Maryland; and the National Security Agency.
Mr. Richardson was elected to this School Board seat in a mid-term election and
re-elected in 2003 and 2007.
Mr. Richardson is the father of James, who
is a graduate of Shepherd University and Sarah, who is a graduate of James Madison
University. He lives in Haymarket with his wife Ramona.
