Code of Behavior

The Prince William County School Board has adopted and publishes a "Code of Behavior". This Code documents the rights, rules, and responsibilities for students and parents while in attendance in our public schools. Each student will receive a copy of this Code and should read the information with their parents.

All students benefit from the appropriate behavior of others. Students are expected to respect property and each other as outlined in the Code.

Inappropriate behavior is handled individually with our students. The school may utilize after school detentions, appropriate corrective measures, suspension from school, and expulsion. These are sanctions in dealing with behavior issues.

Parents may be offered the option of attending class with their child for a day rather than having their child suspended from school.
