READING
Mrs. Yarbrough
Few can dispute the importance of knowing how to read well and write clearly in order to make ones way in the world. Reading and writing are very closely related, and it is often through his or her own writing that a child learns to read, though it may be through reading that a child learns to write .

It is during a child’s years in elementary school that he or she develops literacy attitudes and habits that will accompany him or her into adulthood. It is our goal to help all of our students enjoy reading and writing, to help them become even better readers and writers, and to prepare them to be lifelong learners.

READ - READ - READ - WRITE - WRITE - WRITE
