For the fourth year in a row, Market Day is  being offered as a fundraiser for the PTO.

 

Market Day is a monthly food fundraiser full of delicious, convenient, restaurant-quality food items for purchase.  From appetizers to desserts with snacks, meats, and vegetables, among others in between, Market Day offers over 200 items each month from which you can select.  Market Day is cost competitive  with stores like Giant and Costco and offers many products that you can't find at those stores , like Apple Blossoms, individual carrot cakes, breakfast pizzas, and vegetable fried rice.  Also, many items come in individually packaged or in resealable bags so you can prepare just the amount you'd like.   

Market Day earns a profit based on the sales each month and that money is then used to buy gifts for the school at the end of the year.  In the last three years, Market Day has raised over $26,000 for Bennett.  It's a "win-win" situation as you can do your grocery shopping and earn money for Bennett at the same time.

In the next few weeks, the October Market Day order form will be coming home in your child's backpack.  You can order online at www.marketday.com  or complete the back of the form and return it with your child to school.  It's that simple.  The October order sheets are due back to school by Tuesday, October 3rd or by the Internet on Wednesday, October 4th by noon.  Pick up for this sale will be Tuesday, October 10th from 7-8PM in the school gym.
