Reading Tip of the Month:

It is important that students spends at least 20 minutes reading at home every day. However, there are many different ways to accomplish this. Here are a few suggestions:

*If your child has difficulty reading for 20 minutes in one sitting, try breaking it up into two sessions that are 10 minutes each.

*Try taking turns reading. An adult reads one page, the student reads the next.

*For younger students, read stories aloud to them. Let them practice turning the pages and discuss the story and the pictures together.
