Kindergarten: Focus this month is on math and reading skills. In math the students will be using a variety of tools to help reinforce essential skills such as counting to 10 and 20, finishing patterns and number recognition,. First Grade: . Second Grade: Students are learning software basics. We will begin searching for pictures, cutting and pasting information and learning how to save a powerpoint document. Third Grade: Students will come to the lab once a week to reinforce reading skills with KidBiz 3000. They will also use Type to Learn to reinforce typing skills and begin using new and existing programs to assist with SOL reviews. Fourth Grade: Students will be working in MS Excel and Word to create/build and format a basic multiplication table, and using various online tools for SOL Reviews. Fifth Grade: SOL Reviews for all
for all of April. In May we will work on projects in PowerPoint and
Excel.
