"Information Is Power"

October 2005

Message From Thomas Payne

Thank you for a great opening of school and your participation during the Back to School Nights.

Our academic and extra-curricular activities are in full swing now. You are invited to come to the school anytime to eat lunch or go to classes with your child. Please attend the sports and music events because they offer a different environment for your children to show proficiency.

It is my pleasure to let you know that Fred Lynn is working diligently to make our school as positive and inviting as possible for staff, students, and the community. You should receive post cards from us telling you the good news about your child and the students are using their “Buzz Cards” to receive individual recognition for good deeds. We expect our Positive Effective Discipline approaches will increase the time for quality instruction and foster a climate of acceptance and good will.

We still are looking for a volunteer who could spend only 1 hour per week to send information to our Web host. I promise it will take just sixty minutes! Contact me at paynet@pwcs.edu if interested.

Thank you for all you will do to make this an outstanding school year.
