Dear Parents, Dear Parents,

As we come to the close of another year, I would like to reflect on what a positive year it has been.  Once again our hard work paid off and we were recognized by the county as a School of Excellence. The state recognized us for achieving excellence as well.

     Thank you to our PTO for a job well done!  We have one of the most highly effective PTOs in the county and this year was no exception.  Because of their efforts and your generosity, we are purchasing smart boards and laptop computers for student use next year.  The use of technology allows us to greatly increase the scope of our research.  While you may recognize them as great for review games, they are far more valuable tools.

     I wish each family a safe and restful summer.  I look forward to seeing you again next year.  To those families who will be moving on to middle school or other areas of the community or country, I wish you luck in your new endeavors. 

     Please read our newsletter carefully.  It includes valuable information on summer schedules and important dates on reopening in the fall.  

     We will send out one last newsletter on June 13 where we will highlight the change in our teacher population. It will also house any additional dates and reminders for you as you go into the summer break.
