"The Apple Tree"

Way up high in an apple tree
Two little apples smiled down at me
I shook that tree as hard as I could
Down came the apples
M-m-m-m they were good.

What did you learn?

Most trees change with each season, some don't, like the pine tree.

Trees don't die in the winter, they just go dormant, sort of like a bear hibernates.

Just like people, trees need food and water to live.

Virginia is a great place to grow apples!
