Reminders
 The
PTA will be hosting a Hawaiian Themed Dance in the Marumsco Hills cafeteria on
Friday, June 6, 2008. Mr. Morley will once again be our fabulous DJ.
Are
You Moving This Summer? Please let us know so we can plan for the 2008-2009
school year. Forms were sent home earlier this year but are still available in
the front office. Thank you for your assistance with this process.
Dismissal is at 3:30PM. If you pick
your child up from school you must be at Marumsco Hills by 3:30PM. While we
understand emergencies happen, you should not be late on a daily or weekly
basis. Thank you in advance for your help with this.

SOL Testing Info
Standard of Learning
(SOL) testing will begin at the end of this month. Students in 3rd-5th
grades will take SOLs in reading, math, social studies and science. Fourth
graders will take tests in reading, math and social studies. (Please see the
calendar for the specific testing dates.)
All SOL testing
will begin each morning by 9:15AM. It is necessary for your child to be here
on time during SOL testing. Students arriving to school after
testing begins (9:15) will not be permitted into the classroom
until testing is finished. Also, any student who is late or misses school on a
testing day will be required to take a make-up test on a different day. Please
try to schedule outside appointments around these important SOL dates and times.

MHES CLOTHES CLOSET REQUEST
We need boys and girls
pants in sizes 5, 6, 7, 8 that students can change into when they have spills
and/or accidents at school. If your child has outgrown any of these sizes we
would appreciate a donation to our school clothes closet. Thanks for helping us
out!
Please do NOT park in the student drop
off/pick up area out front. When parents leave their cars it prohibits other
parents from getting through. If you need to get out of your car, please park
on the side of the school.
