The PTO stands for the Parent Teacher Organization. This group helps MWES raise money for playground equipment, field trips, teacher requests for funding, sponsors special events and takes an active role in other activities that benefit our wonderful school. Dues to join the PTO are $5.00 per family. New members are always welcomed. PTO members may be contacted via the school web site.
Upcoming events include student Holiday shop, Go Play Labels, Family yard sale, movie nights and other events. We currently have one vacancy on the PTO for the position of Vice President. Anyone interested in applying for the position may contact any current member of the PTO or the Principal for the application process.
The P.T.O. meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month. The next meeting will be held on December 10th at 7:00pm in the school library.
