School Wide Discipline At CMES we believe all students, staff and parents should
feel safe, comfortable and respected while at school. In order to achieve this goal, we have
initiated our school-wide discipline respect program called “Reaching for the
Stars.” A copy of this plan is sent home with every student on the first day of
school. It must be
signed and returned to school.
Please encourage your child to follow the plan. Code of Behavior and Elementary
Handbook We have high expectations for our students and believe that self-discipline leads to sound instructional growth. Proper discipline is expected at the bus stop, on the bus, on the way to/from school, in the hallways and bathrooms, in the classroom, at lunch, and on the playground. Acts of violence, including bullying and threats, are dealt with seriously at CMES. The school division’s policy is explained in the Code of Behavior and the Elementary Handbook. Please carefully read the PWCS Code of Behavior and the Elementary Handbook which were given to your child on their first day of school. It is the family’s responsibility to follow all county policies that are outlined in these documents. |
