INFRACTIONS

 

Safety Patrols must exemplify good behavior as they are expected to serve as a role model to their peers.  A role model is defined as one who exhibits pride, responsibility, respect and good citizenship.  Safety Patrols who are unable or unwilling to perform their duties in the capacity will incur infractions that may jeopardize their ability to serve their school.

 

CODE 1 INFRACTION

 

Code 1 infractions are offenses consisting of but not limited to:

·        Not wearing their belt or badge

·        Not showing up at their post

·        Being tardy to their post

·        Classroom disruptions

·        Failure to complete classroom assignment

 

1st Offense, a verbal warning

2nd Offense, letter home

3rd Offense, suspension from post for 1 week

 

CODE 2 INFRACTIONS

 

Code 2 infractions are more serious offenses consisting of, but not limited to:

·        Referrals

·        Out of school suspensions

·        Disrespect towards a member of the faculty or staff

·        Quitting a post

 

1st Offense, Suspension from post for 2 weeks

2nd Offense, dismissal from Safety Patrol Program
