On behalf of the CMES PTA, welcome to the McAuliffe
PTA website. To those who have been part of CMES in the past, welcome back.
To the new families joining us for the first time, we welcome you. The mission of our PTA is encouraging parent
and community involvement in the education, health and welfare of our youth
and to serve as an advocate on behalf of our children. Your support and
involvement is the only way we can accomplish our goals. All money raised by the PTA is used to fund
special programs for the students, fun events such as the Sock-Hop, and helps
us to purchase books, computer programs and other educational items. Every parent is invited and encouraged to
attend the CMES PTA monthly meetings that are held at the school on the third
Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM in the school library. Childcare and food
will be provided at each meeting! Please read the PTA newsletter that is sent
home with your child as we will let you know of any changes in meeting times.
Your questions, comments, and new ideas are always welcome at the meetings. Your participation in the PTA is a worthwhile
endeavor that relays a positive message to your children regarding how you
feel about their education and sense of community. Please help make this year
