CyberSmart Curriculum |
This K-8 curriculum was developed and published as a joint effort of CyberSmart and Macmillan McGraw-Hill. It teaches "safe, responsible, and effective use of school technology and complements all academic subjects." (Grade Level: K-2, 3-5, 6-8) |
| KidzPrivacy | This site explains the 1998 Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which took effect on April 21, 2000. Sponsored by the Federal Trade Commission, KidzPrivacy is part of a national kid's privacy educational campaign. (Grade Level: K-12) |
| wNetSchool | WNetSchool is a Web service for K-12 teachers provided by Thirteen/WNET, the major media producer for American Public Television. The site is designed in collaboration with Master Teachers and offers lesson plans for core curriculum topics that utilize technology in the classroom, including the film and web resources of Thirteen/WNET. WNetSchool also provides a forum where readers' questions are answered by experts in teaching and technology. (Grade Level: K-12, Professional) |
