Greetings from Sonnie P. Penn Elementary School! We are the home of the "Scribes" who work hard each day to fulfill our motto: "Making our Mark on the Future!" We opened in September of 1998. The Penn Staff is composed of outstanding individuals who are highly dedicated to the education of our young students. Our parents are involved in a very active PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) which sponsors Family Nights; Skate Nights; Penn Night at McDonald's; a Sock-Hop; a Fun Fair; and Market Days. Penn students are the best in Prince William County (I'm a little biased about this) because they work hard each day; they treat each other kindly; and they move about our building during the day in a safe and orderly manner.
