Being a Sponsor for the SCA is a very time-consuming position and we'd like to thank Ms. Abood & Ms. Clerico

for taking on this challenge, in addition to their daily teaching responsibilities.

ATTENTION ALL TEACHERS AND STAFF AT POTOMAC VIEW!!!

We need you to show some of that Palomino Pride as we compete

against Kilby Elementary

	WHAT:	KILBY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STAFF vs.
		POTOMAC VIEW ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STAFF
	WHEN:	APRIL 3 from 6pm-7:15pm
	WHERE:	FRED LYNN MIDDLE SCHOOL GYMNASIUM
	WHY:	Students will cheer for their teachers and get psyched for the SOLs COST: $2 per ticket. This is a fundraiser for the SCA. You must purchase a ticket in order to attend SPORTS NIGHT! Tickets will be on sale the week of March 24^th for students in grades 3,4,5. Tickets are first come, first serve, and must be presented for admission

Box Tops for Education:

We will be collecting Box Tops to raise money for the school.

Box tops can be found on a number of items including cereal, crackers, cookies, and more.

The class to bring in the most box tops over the entire year will win a party!

Be sure to tell your family and friends to save as many Box Tops as they can so we can raise money for the SCA and Potomac View!

	SPIRIT WEAR CONTESTS
Fridays :	Remember to show your Palomino Pride by wearing our spirit wear colors of blue, gold or white and doing your best work ever.

Spirit wear will be as follows:
Friday Jan 11th	Red and Blue Day
Friday Jan 18th	Crazy Hat Day
Friday Jan 25th	Virginia Tech Day (orange and maroon or VT merchandise)
Please remember that regular Potomac View clothes count as Spirit Wear on Fridays.
The class with the most students wearing spirit wear will get to have our Palomino Pride banner hanging on their door for the week.
