SOL Testing – Grades 3, 4, 5

Grade 1 Field Trip

The first graders went to the zoo on April 17.  They have been learning about animal life needs and specific physical characteristics in preparation for the trip. They have learned about reptiles, amphibians, fish, birds, and mammals.

Grade 3 Field Trip

The third graders will visit the planetarium at Hylton High School on April 30. They will learn about the planets, moon, and stars.

Grade 5 Field Trip

The fifth graders are going to the Smithsonian Museum to enhance their study of geology.

Field Day

May 9 is Field Day. Students should wear sneakers and dress appropriately for outdoor activities. Please send sunscreen for your child.

Grade 5            Mrs. Davison

The classes who read the most AR points received extra recess. The classes who achieved the most Acc Math points were able to play board games.
