School Wide Title I Program
|
|
We are seeking two or three parent volunteers to sit on an advisory committee to help facilitate, develop, and write a
school wide Title I plan for the 2008-2009 school year. Currently, we provide Title I services to students in kindergarten-
fifth grade. Students receiving these services are pulled out for 30 minutes a day for small group instruction in Reading or
Math by our Reading and Math Specialists. For the 2008-2009 school year we are looking to implement a model whereby
all students at Bel Air Elementary will receive services by a Title I Reading or Math Specialist via small group instruction
or in an inclusion classroom with two teachers. If you are interested in serving on this committee, please contact Mr.
Mitchell at 703-670-4050 or email mitchemm@pwcs.edu.
