Morning Announcements for Friday, May 9

Any Beville student who has been documenting his/her community and service hours needs to turn that documentation into the sponsor of the activity before May 15, 2008. Students who have documented 30 or more hours and are not NJHS or IB students will be recognized at Awards Night. Students who turn in hours after May 15 will only receive a certificate.

IB students’ community and service hours are due to Mrs. Johnson no later than May 15. Any IB student who has completed 75 or more hours will be honored at Awards Night.

Those students staying after school today for the Adopt-A-School Clean Up, please meet in Room 10 when Group C is dismissed.

Free tickets for the ballet, Carmen, are available to Beville students and their families. The cost at the door for these tickets is $20.00 for students and $30.00 for adults. If you'd like free tickets, just stop by the library to pick them up.

Students mark your calendar...

Middle School Night for students is this Saturday night, from 7:30 - 10:00 PM, at the Chinn Aquatics and Fitness Center. The cost is $7.00, at the door, your exact change is appreciated. Students must present one of the following to enter, student’s 2007-2008 school photo I.D., an 07-08 class schedule, or parent verification at the door. School student agendas will not be permitted as verification.

Activities include Basketball, Racquetball, Dodgeball, a dance with a D.J., or they can hang out with friends in our Youth Lounge. There is a concession stand available to purchase food and drinks.

The Chinn Center looks forward to seeing all of our students Saturday night. If you have questions, feel free to contact Danny Lawray at 703-791-0727, during the school day.

If we have any staff or parents who wish to volunteer, please have them contact Danny Lawray. They will be rewarded with Facility use Passes.

2008-2009 Osbourn Park High School Cheerleading Tryouts Are Coming!!

Monday, May 12th, and Wednesday, May 14th, 3:00 to 5:00pm

Final tryout is on Thursday, May 15th at 3:30

8th grade SIGNET students going to Garfield, don't forget to come to the SIGNET room today at 1:00 to meet with Mr. Snyder. Please be prompt! The meeting will last about one hour.
