Beville Middle School will be sponsoring our “Books for Rwanda” book drive from May 12-16th!  In Rwanda, there is only one textbook to every 3 children, and one teacher to every 56 students!  In an effort to “give back”, and in the spirit of community, we would like to help the children of Africa by encouraging our students to bring in gently used educational books.  Books collected during this drive will be used to open a teacher’s resource center in Rwanda.  Each grade level’s top “collectors” will have a special party on May 19th in recognition of their efforts.  We encourage you and your family to make a donation during that week so that we may help the thousands of African students who are not able to enjoy the many benefits of reading and learning. Please help us to improve the lives of others who are less fortunate.   Thank you for your generosity! ---------------------------------------------------------------- Support the Beville Middle School PTSO! Want to know what you can do to protect yourself and your children in the online world?  There are two upcoming FREE events that you should put on your calendar: The Potomac Nationals will host Internet Safety Night on May 24th. Kids in attendance will receive gift bags pertaining to Internet Safety and have an opportunity to win prizes for answering Internet safety-themed trivia questions...including a grand prize of an HP notebook computer. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Procedures for School Visitors Please read this letter before you visit the school.
