A+ BONUS BUCKS

With A+ BonusBucks, points accrue with each purchase that uses the Giant Card. It even works with purchases made online with Peapod by Giant. At the end of each month, these points determine your school's cash total which is automatically credited to its account and school totals updated each month. (Please note: Gift cards, pharmacy, alcohol and/or cigarette purchases are excluded from accruing points.)

How It Works

A+ BonusBucks are rounded per transaction to the nearest whole dollar amount. At the end of each month, each school's dollar amount is determined which is then automatically credited to its account.

Only schools which have registered for A+ BonusBucks programs may be selected. To change or sign up for school registrations on your Giant Card account, you'll need to supply both your 12 digit card number with no spaces and the first three digits of your last name. Once you enter this information, you will need to give the Stonewall Middle School ID #02024.

PTO Parents are a vital part of the Stonewall school community.  They are invited and encouraged to become involved as volunteers in the school offices and classrooms, and as members of the PTO.  Opportunities are available for classroom visits that allow parents the opportunity to see students at work. Clickt the PTO website to see all the exciting things they are doing and where you can get involved! http://www.schoolpulse.com/groups/921546

Tdap Vaccinations

Tdap Vaccination Mandatory for Rising Sixth Graders

Health officials are urging parents to vaccinate their rising sixth-graders now to avoid the summer rush, and to make sure that their children’s vaccination records are up-to-date for the 2008-09 school year. This year all students must be vaccinated with the Tdap (Tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis) vaccine prior to school entry on the first day of school. This would apply to those that have not been vaccinated for tetanus for at least five years. Health departments and schools are working together to make sure parents get the message to vaccinate their students early.

Local health departments will provide the Tdap vaccine free of charge to uninsured rising sixth-graders. (Some fees may apply for other vaccines.) For health department information in Prince William County, call 703.732.6301 (Manassas) or 703.792.7300 (Woodbridge), or log on to www.pwcgov.org and click on health. Clinics are located at 9301 Lee Avenue in Manassas and 13792 Smoketown Road in Woodbridge. For more information on the Tdap vaccine, visit www.cdc.gov/nip.
