Science activities, including hands-on investigations, explorations and demonstrations are an important component in providing high-quality, K-12 science instruction. These activities occur in various locations both inside and outside schools, including science classrooms, laboratories, and in the field.

Laboratory safety is an integral and important part of science education in Prince William County Public Schools. Safety in the science program begins with our youngest students and continues through high school. The documents and resources on this page provide additional information about safety in the science classroom.

If you have any questions about laboratory safety, please contact Dr. Julia Renberg, supervisor of science, at renbergj@pwcs.edu or 703-791-7240.
