PARKSIDE MIDDLE SCHOOL RECEIVES A BEST BUY GRANT

Parkside Middle School has received a $2,500 te@ch grant from the Best Buy Children’s Foundation.  The Best Buy te@ch program recognizes programs and projects that use interactive technology creatively in the curriculum. The Foundation provides grants to national nonprofit organizations with technology-related programs and directly to Best Buy communities.  Michael Ott, eighth grade language arts teacher, submitted the grant proposal.

The te@ach grant enables the Parkside Middle School eighth grade language art teachers to implement WebQuest into their curriculum by purchasing an additional camcorder, digital camera, color printer and scanner.
