GOVERNOR’S SCHOOL, FOREIGN LANGUAGE ACADEMY
Sixty-nine Prince William County Public Schools students have been selected
to attend Governor’s school programs and the 2003 Foreign Language Academies
this summer.
Students who will attend the Governor’s School for Mathematics, Science and Technology at Lynchburg University June 29 to July 26 include, from Hylton High School, Caitlyn Raines; Forest Park High School, Michael Claud, Derrick Hoxie, Eric Noonan, and Marissa Paslick; Gar-Field High School, Traci Flemons, Cameron Johnson, and Victoria Wurster; Osbourn Park High School, Chelsea Grimm, Jeffrey Hall, and Jennifer Mondugno; Potomac High School, Muhammad Quraish; and Woodbridge High School, Russell Howe, Brittany Hu, and Jessica Streufert. Those selected to attend the Governor’s School for the Humanities at the University of Richmond June 29 to July 26 include, from Hylton High School, Daniel Hillenbrand and Maggie Woodward; from Forest Park, Desmond Ang, DeCarol Davis, and Andrew Gidwani; from Gar-Field High School, Erin Lowery, Victoria Wallace, and Chris Zhao; from Osbourn Park High School, Drew Chartrand and Phuong Dinh; from Potomac High School, Lauren Smith; from Stonewall Jackson High, Jeffrey Barnes; and from Woodbridge High School, Lindsay Cooper, Brittany Fowler, Gregory Hutton, and Caroline Spence. Students who will attend the Governor’s School for the Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Richmond June 29 to July 26 include, from Brentsville District High School, Andrew Christensen; Hylton High School, Alyssa Gregory, Carly Keith, and Sarah Smith; from Forest Park High School, Kelly Cook, Kimberly Davidson, Eric MacFarland, and Anna Musashe; from Gar-Field High School, Walter McClean, Christopher Wurster, and Jeffrey Zeiders; from Osbourn Park High School, Jennifer Hom; from Stonewall Jackson High School, Caitlin Fillers, Matthew Leuthy, and Michael Roberts; and from Woodbridge High School, Christopher Bivens, Chin Kim, Wesley Lovell, and Stephanie Sosinski. Tayeeb Faruk, Jessica Limbaugh, and Lauren White, students at Hylton High School; Mark Mason, Forest Park High School; Kathryn Foster, Arti Khana, Ashley McWilliams, and Ibrahim Yussuf, Gar-Field High School; Alison Fuerst, Osbourn Park High School; David Kobulnicky and Randi Lassiter, Potomac High School; and Suzy An, Arlen Connolly, Ana Marquez, and Yasha Mathur, Stonewall Jackson High School; will attend the Governor’s School for Agriculture held at Virginia Tech from July 6 to August 2. Students listed below have been accepted to attend the 2003 Governor’s Foreign Language Academies, to be held as follows: Spanish, June 28 to July 20, Virginia School for the Deaf and Blind; Russian, June 22 to July 10, James Madison University; German, June 28 to July 20, James Madison University; and Japanese, June 29 to July 18, Longwood University. Students accepted to the Foreign Language Academies, their school and
language include from Brentsville District, Patrick Mitchell, Spanish
and Noah Sturcken, Russian; Hylton, John Bowling, German and Saba Mehboob,
Russian; Osbourn Park, Erin Cunningham, Russian; and Woodbridge, Kimberly
Norris, Japanese, and Maria Webb, Russian.
