The Prince William County School Board recognized the school division’s summa cum laude graduates at a reception and ceremony on last Tuesday, June 8, at C. D. Hylton High School.  The students earned the distinction of summa cum laude by attaining a grade point average of 4.0 or higher.  

The Gar-Field High School Viking Quartet, under the direction of Michael Trowbridge, presented a musical prelude.  Edward L. Kelly, Superintendent of Schools, and Lucy S. Beauchamp, Chairman of the School Board, offered opening remarks.
