In partnership with Project Fit America, Sport & Health Clubs has identified Enterprise Elementary School in Woodbridge as one of three in the area chosen to receive a grant to support their new “Kids on the GO!” program. The grants, awarded by Sport & Health Clubs, the Washington, D.C. metro area’s largest health club company, and PFA are valued at $15,300. According to Sport & Health Clubs, the “Kids on the GO!” grants provide permanent outdoor fitness equipment “designed for regular group exercise and to address all the deficit areas where children traditionally fail fitness tests.” The grant also offers a cardiovascular fitness education curriculum for grades 1-12, teacher training, and staff development conducted by PFA trainers.
