Some of the reasons Marumsco Hills Elementary was selected as a School of Excellence are:
- At Marumsco Hills, staff analyzes test data and develops instructional strategies to address students’ weaknesses.
- Teachers and staff provide after-school tutoring programs for third and fifth grade students.
- Staff, teachers, parents, and students maintain a “Can-Do” climate of high expectations.
- Inclusion strategies are implemented for ESOL and special education students.
