2001-2002 School of Excellence

Osbourn Park High School received the School of Excellence Award for the third year at awards ceremonies for all school employees.

Mr. Timothy Healey, Principal of Osbourn Park High School, accepted awards on behalf of the school presented by Mrs. Lucy Beauchamp and Associate Superintendent Mr. Kris Pedersen.

 

Mr. Healey accepted a School of Excellence commemorative flag on behalf of Osbourn Park High School at a school board awards ceremony.

Some of the reasons Osbourn Park High School was selected as a School of Excellence are:

• Osbourn Park High School believes that to be successful, staff and students need to focus first on the classroom and academics. 
• Teachers have high expectations in their classrooms and, on a normal day, most teachers stay after school, give up their lunchtime, or come early in the morning to work with students that need support to reach their expectations.
• Parents are proud of Osbourn Park High School and they are involved in many ways to support the school, including the decisions and direction Osbourn Park takes as a school.
