2000-2001 School of Excellence

Achievements which enabled Montclair to be selected as a School of Excellence were the following:

•  Montclair embraces the philosophy that “All Children Will Learn To Their Fullest Capacity” incorporating the research of how the brain learns, the science of learning, and the art of teaching.

Staff delivered instruction through the Multiple Intelligences (MI), integrating the Prince William County curriculum and making connections through themes/units to enhance real life experiences.

Montclair took the responsibility as educators to hold only the highest expectations for themselves and for their students.
