The School Board meets during the school year on the first, and third Wednesdays of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the School Board Meeting Room, 14800 Joplin Road , Independent Hill.
Meetings on the first and third Wednesdays are regular meetings, and are broadcast live on PWCS-TV Channel 18 on the Comcast Cable System.

Closed session meetings are held prior to the regular meetings at 6 p.m. Special meetings are called when necessary to conduct school business and are announced in advance through local news media.
All School Board meetings, except closed sessions, are open to the public. Citizens are invited to attend and become informed about the operation of Prince William County Public Schools. Electronic School Board Agendas are now available online in advance of meetings.
Citizens who wish to address the School Board under citizens comment time must notify the Board Clerk in writing, by telephone, or by Email (select) at the address below prior to 12:00 noon on the day of the Board meeting. Please provide your name, address, phone number and topic you would like to speak about. Effective at the January 2, 2008 School Board meeting, citizens may also sign on to the list of speakers maintained at the entrance to the School Board meeting room at the beginning of a regular School Board meeting, but prior to 6:30 p.m. on the evening of the meeting.
