To register for an official test in Prince William County, individuals are required to attend a registration session at the Adult Learning Center, 14800 Joplin Road, Manassas, Virginia 20112, to complete the final registration process. Registration requirements are listed below and are also available on our GED Test web site and information line at 703.791.2319.

| REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Individuals must be 18 years of age or must have attained 16 years of age and not be enrolled or required to be enrolled in secondary school under state law. If under 18 years of age, written consent is required from the Adult Education Coordinator prior to registration.
(When Prince William County Schools are closed due to inclement weather, registration will be canceled.) |

| TEST SCORES | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
TEST RESULTS: You should receive your test scores within one week after taking the test. IF TEST IS PASSED: Upon successful completion, a GED Certificate is awarded by the Virginia State Department of Education. The GED is widely accepted by employers and colleges. IF TEST IS NOT PASSED: Individuals may test only three times during one calendar year (January - December). ACCOMMODATIONS: Reasonable accommodations are available upon request to individuals who qualify.
