Explorer Research

The students were given an explorer to research: Fernando Coronado, Robert de La Salle, John Cabot, or Samuel de Champlain.

The students saved and inserted a picture and map of their explorer's route into a Word Document.  They then printed and saved their work.

Finally, the students went to the Exploration Resources page where they clicked on the links below their explorers name to find information for their project.

Layers of the Earth

The students used the History of the Earth WebQuest to gather information concerning the layers of the earth and plate tectonics.

The students also created a diagram using Inspiration.  The diagram was exported to Microsoft Word where the students answered questions about plates.
