PWCS Software Review Process
A formal Software Review Process has been implemented by the Prince William County Schools.
This is a cooperative effort between the Departments of Instructional Technology and Information Technology.
This process governs the selection, purchase and installation of software on any computer that is
connected to the PWCS Novell Network. Once a software application or web-based subscription service
has successfully completed this software review process, it will be added to the "living" list
of PWCS County Approved Software. At this point it will be eligible for purchase with county funds
and may be installed on computers attached to the PWCS Novell network.
