  • Virginia Department of Education - Instructional Services : Standards of Learning Resources

  • Released SOL Tests : Downloadable Adobe .pdf files of past tests that have been released for public viewing, general reference and use.

  • Electronic Practice Assessment Tools : (ePAT) is a stand-alone program that will simulate (without using an Internet connection) a Web-based Standards of Learning (SOL) Assessment via the TestNav™ application using released SOL test items.  You can download and install this application on your home computer and then practice a variety of past SOL tests in the online testing format.  Note that online testing will only be given to Algebra 1 students at Beville Middlle School.

  • Jefferson Lab-Virginia State Math, Science and Technology SOL Practice Tests : Tailor your own online practice test by content strand and length.  Feedback is provided to your responses, on average.

  • The Virginia Algebra Resource Center : SOL Resources for Algebra 1 from The University of Virginia's Curry School of Education.

  • Middle School (Grades 6-8) SOL Resources : These interactive activities were collected and categorized by Obe Hostetter from Rockingham County Public Schools..

  • A compilation of Social Studies SOL Review Sites collected by BVMS Social Studies Teachers

  • Texas Education Agency, Student Assessment Division : Texas has a state testing program that is similar to that of Virginia.  Their materials may provide a valuable supplement to the Virginia resources listed above.  Interactive online versions are available as well.
