School Board IconCurrent and newly elected members of the Prince William County School Board will meet on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at the Kelly Leadership Center at 14715 Bristow Road, Manassas, Virginia to participate in professional development training and orientation prior to the seating of the new School Board in January of 2020.

The activities will begin at 8 a.m. with legal training (closed session), and an open session beginning at 10:45 a.m. with parliamentary procedure, an introduction to the Clerk’s Office, and a welcome from the Superintendent and senior staff. Panel discussions presented by members of the higher education and business community on issues of importance to the development of the Division’s Strategic Plan will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Participants will include Dean Robert Pianta and members of the faculty of the Curry School of Education at the University of Virginia; Dr. Mark Ginsberg, dean, George Mason University; Dr. Sam Hill, provost, Northern Virginia Community College; and several members of the Prince William County business community.
