Cambridge logoParkside Middle School has been named a Cambridge Professional Development Center. It is the first and only school in the United States to have this designation.

“This means that the school offers professional development in teaching and learning to educators that meets rigorous international standards,” said Mary Jane Boynton, principal.

Teachers completing Cambridge Program professional development at Parkside Middle School can earn the Cambridge PDQ Certificate, a qualification accredited by the University College London Institute of Education, which was ranked number one for education worldwide in the 2014 and 2015 QS World University rankings.

“We applied for this designation to offer our faculty specific and customized training to enrich their professional learning. Our students are going to benefit from our best practices in teaching and learning,” said Boynton.

Professional development opportunities at Parkside Middle School are open to any educator across our School Division.

Parkside Middle School became a Cambridge International School in January 2013.
