GOVERNOR'S SCHOOL

Portfolio screening for high school art students interested in applying for the 2008-2009 Governor's School will be October 22, 2008 at Woodbridge High School beginning at 2:30 p.m. Application materials and portfolio requirements can be obtained from any high school art teacher in Prince William County Schools.

SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM 2008

Young artists in grades 2 through 8, spent two week of their summer creating amazing art "Inspired By Nature." One hundred student artists participated in the Summer Art Enrichment Program sponsored by Prince William County Schools. The west end program was held at Marsteller Middle School and the east end program was at Benton Middle School. Both programs hosted student art displays on the final day. Students were extremely excited to share their work with family and friends.

Applications for the 2009 Summer Art Enrichment Program for students who have completed grades 2 through 8 will be available from every elementary and middle school art teacher in Prince William County beginning March 1, 2009. The deadline for submitting an application will be May 15, 2009.

Information about the 2009 Summer Art Enrichment Program is currently available from every high school art teacher in Prince William County Schools. Applications will be available through the high school art teachers February 1, 2009.
