PARENT INFORMATION

Prince William County Schools offers interscholastic competition in the middle school as well as high school level.  Athletes are given excellent opportunities to compete and improve skill level with quality coaching and supervision.  Emphasis is placed on the importance of developing the student/athlete academic performance and sportsmanship behaviors.

ATHLETIC AND ACTIVITY PARTICIPATION ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS

To try out and participate in athletics activities in Prince William County Schools, students must meet participation requirements and have a current physical dated after May 1. Physicals from previous years are ineligible. Please remember to complete the physical form in its entirety complete with required signatures. Always keep a copy of the physical for your personal records should it become lost or misplaced.

Middle school academic and conduct eligibility is included in the Activities Guide for Middle School Students and Parents.

High school students must meet Virginia High School League (VHSL) and Prince William County eligibility requirements.
