Greetings from the home of the Huskies. This will be my second year as principal of Henderson Elementary School. How pleased I am to serve the community and build upon the base of solid parent support that has been established. We want the 2008-09 school year to “Simply Be the Best Yet.”

I would like to thank you for your strong commitment to our school staff. This makes their efforts on behalf of your children a much easier task. I wish to extend a special greeting to all families who were a part of our school community during the 2007-08 school session. Thank you for working together with our teachers to form positive partnerships that work for the overall good of your child as well as other children who attend Henderson. This partnership continues to strengthen each year. Let us make this partnership even more positive in the year ahead.

For families new to our school community, please accept my warm welcome and best wishes for a positive transition to your new home, new job assignment, if applicable and especially to a new school situation for your children. We want to assist in any way possible to make your child’s school entry a smooth one. We are working diligently to be a school that has a “family-friendly” atmosphere. Call on us as necessary to help your child to get off to a great start this fall.

Greetings and welcome to Alexander Henderson Elementary! It is difficult to express the excitement I am feeling in being the new assistant principal of Henderson Elementary School. It is an honor and privilege to be at the service of an outstanding faculty and wonderful parents and students that make up the community. Throughout the school year, your child's teacher and I will be making a special effort to stay in touch with you. We will keep you informed of your child's progress and school activities.
