Air Force JROTC Comes to Four Prince William County High Schools Battlefield, C.D. Hylton, Stonewall Jackson, and Freedom High Schools were selected from schools nation-wide to offer the Air Force JROTC program beginning with the 2006-2007 school year. Currently, eight of the ten high schools in Prince William County offer a JROTC program.
FREEDOM MUSEUM'S COLOR GUARD DRILL COMPETITION
The Gar-Field Senior High School Marine Corps Junior ROTC Color Guard walked away with the first-place trophy. Second and third place trophies were awarded to Woodbridge High School Army JROTC and Freedom High School Air Force JROTC, respectively.

Prince William County Schools offer Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) programs for the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines at eight high schools. Students wishing to participate in one of these programs shall enroll in the JROTC program of the school for the attendance area in which they reside or in the program to which their school is assigned. Students are encouraged to enter the program in the ninth grade in order to receive the full benefits of the four-year program. Applications are available at the program locations. |
